Our Key Initiatives
Craft Store & Merchandise
Our craft store sells locally made crafts by community members, along with merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and wristbands featuring conservation messages. These items are designed to appeal to tourists while spreading awareness about our mission.
All proceeds directly support the association and help provide sustainable incomes for reformed poachers and their families.
Restaurant & Education Center
Our planned restaurant will serve local dishes in a simple, authentic environment, with ingredients sourced from our community garden. Tour groups can enjoy meals here while learning about our conservation efforts.
The attached education center will host talks and tours for tourists and locals alike, explaining how the project helps both the community and wildlife conservation in the park.
Collaboration with UWA
We work closely with the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) to achieve our conservation goals. This partnership allows us to leverage UWA’s expertise in wildlife management while providing community-based solutions to poaching.
UWA also supports by purchasing produce from our community farm to supply their barracks, creating a reliable income stream for our members.

Educational Community Walk
Join a guided walk through the community where association members explain how and why the project started, and share our conservation goals. Available through Topi Lodge and tour companies.
Community Farm & Restaurant Visit
Enjoy local dishes made with ingredients from our community garden, followed by an educational talk about the project and a tour of the facilities. A perfect lunch stop for tour groups.
